The Party Collective · Sustainability

Beautiful moments.
Thoughtful choices.

Celebrations deserve care — in the products we choose, the way we use them and what happens when the party is over.

A little more care

Plan thoughtfully.
Enjoy fully.
Clear up carefully.

Small choices belong in every celebration.

01 / Our approach

Care beyond
the celebration.

At The Party Collective, we connect India's balloon artists, decorators and party businesses with products that bring their ideas to life. We believe that creativity goes hand in hand with thoughtful use.

Our approach starts with practical choices: plan quantities, care for materials, keep balloons contained and make clearing up part of every event. We also look to the manufacturers we represent for information about their materials and production practices.

Better-informed choices, from the first idea to the final clean-up.

02 / The brands behind the balloons

Progress worth understanding.

A closer look at what Grabo and Kalisan share about their own work.

GRABO / MATERIALS & ENERGY

A new role for recycled materials.

Grabo announced that, from 2024, its 18-inch balloons would contain 40% recycled material. Its sustainability programme also describes solar power at its production site and forest protection initiatives.

For TPC customers, the next step is to check the specific product and packaging: a manufacturer's initiative should not be treated as a claim covering every balloon or batch.

KALISAN / PRODUCTION & QUALITY

Thoughtful production starts with detail.

Kalisan describes continuous improvements to its latex balloon manufacturing, with a focus on efficient production, quality controls and checks by accredited testing organisations.

Its English website also describes regular SGS testing for product compliance. These are manufacturer statements about production and product safety; they do not establish that a balloon is compostable or harmless in nature.

These initiatives belong to the respective manufacturers. Recycled content does not automatically mean a product is locally recyclable. Check product-specific information and your local waste service's requirements.

03 / Your celebration checklist

Make care part
of the plan.

Our guidance for decorators, retailers and everyone who loves a beautifully styled celebration.

  1. Keep balloons grounded.

Do not release balloons into the sky. Keep displays secured and helium balloons attached to suitable weights throughout the event.

  2. Buy for the design.

Plan your sizes, colours and quantities before ordering. Store unused balloons according to the manufacturer's instructions so they are ready for another project.

  3. Give suitable pieces another use.

Save reusable stands, frames and weights. Reuse a balloon only where its design, condition and manufacturer instructions allow it.

  4. Finish with a full clean-up.

Collect balloons, fragments, ribbons and fixings. Keep them out of drains, waterways and outdoor spaces, and follow local disposal guidance.
