01 / THE BRAND
About Takara
Takara is the balloon brand of TakaraTec Corporation, a Japanese manufacturer established in 1979. Its portfolio includes Bubble Balloons, T-Balloons, Aqua Balloons and the ibrex series, combining specialist film technology with distinctive decorative formats. The Takara collection at The Party Collective features clear and printed designs for elegant gifts, occasion bouquets and event styling, bringing transparency, shape and fine detail into a coordinated arrangement.
02 / RESPONSIBILITY
Sustainability efforts
TakaraTec brings environmental thinking into both manufacturing and balloon design. Its environmental management system achieved ISO 14001 certification in 2004, supported by commitments to energy monitoring, resource conservation and pollution prevention. The ibrex EverFloat line combines high gas retention to reduce helium consumption with ink containing 35% biomass components and printing at a Green Printing certified facility. Upright Balloons save an additional plastic support cup, while the EverFloat material’s RPF fuel-recovery route gives used material a further role as an energy resource.
03 / THE DIFFERENCE
What sets them apart
TakaraTec combines in-house manufacturing in Japan with specialist balloon-film development. Its transparent Bubble and T-Balloon formats bring a distinctive lightness to decorative arrangements, while the wider ibrex portfolio demonstrates its focus on gas retention and material engineering. This blend of manufacturing expertise and visual variety gives the brand a clear identity within professional balloon styling.
